The loss of Cde Dumza Dura Nguqu from the SASCO Tisha Vanga Branch, is not only the loss of our sister branch, as the SASCO Cape Town branch, but the loss of the entire province.
Death has once again consumed one the most true and dedicated Cde's of our time, who served the organisation selflessly. He will forever be remembered for being a wise humble fearless soldier whom in his activism has always put the needs of others before his. This is evident by the faith that the Tisha Vanga branch had in him which led to his election as the Branch Chairperson earlier this year.
The best we can do to honour Cde Dumza's memory to ensure his name is not marked off in the books of history and that we all rally behind the Tisha Vanga branch in these upcoming elections to ensure total victory. I am confident that Cde Dumza's spirit will lead us to total victory not for only the Tisha Vanga campus but for most CPUT campuses. And for the sake of his name, we will not rest until power is regained.
In this sad time, we say condolences to the family and friends of this Cde. May you all find comfort the in Lords promises and His eternal word.
RIP Force.
You have done your bit to make this world a better place for all.
May you continue to shine in your new found life.
Long Live the Sprit of Dumza Dura Nguqu
Long Live the undying Spirit of Adaduma Wushekazi Cekwana

MESSAGE TO ADADUMA CEKWANA ON 23 DECEMBER 2017

So this year will be the first time your family will spend Christmas without you.
😥

I remember when I first had contact with you in 2015. I was serving as the Secretary of House Committee at NMJ, South Point. I remember I was coming out of my room and you greeted me by my name and I was surprised that you know me. You told me that in 2016 you would love the position I was occupying at the time. I remember you said you don't want any other position, you want mine because you loved how I acted in that portfolio. You said you want the power I have. This really shook me 😂😳 I never thought that anyone took notice. I thought I was doing what I meant to be doing. This was the first compliment I received in all leadership structures I had served in and it was really humbling. We exchanged numbers and made contact ever since and I had vowed to lobby for you and to lift your name in the next election.
I remember when our term was drawing to an end, I informed my colleagues at the time oAnelisa Juta that there is someone who had already availed herself for position of secretary. And indeed in 2016 you did emerge as the new Secretary of the House Committee. And I must say you were the last Secretary at NMJ.
Even when you were occupying that position, you always asked me for advice on how to solve problems, be it House problems or internal House Committee conflicts. You were always willing to learn even though there was an element of stubbornness 😂😂😂😂
You were a true leader, you served fearlessly and without favor. I remember how mad you were at first about being a associated with SASCO because you wanted nothing to do with student politics but eventually over time you slowly began to love and serve the organisation to the best of your ability. And this contributed to you being an outstanding Cde. You contributed to the growth of SASCO NMJ cell alongside Anele Gebenga, Xolani Jafta and Andile Xolo. I hope that our branch could be renamed to Adaduma Cekwana Branch, but that's a discussion for another day.
I really hope you are happy wherever you are. If you do, by any chance, come across any relative of mine please tell them I miss them and I love them. If you see my father, please tell him it's been 12 years since he left us. Tell him I think about him all the time. I often wonder what he would be doing and what he would look like if he is were still alive. Tell him he missed an opportunity to meet his grandchildren. Tell him that God made his sons fruitful and in the period of 12 years he has been gone, he has 7 grandchildren; 2 girls and 5 boys.
If you see my grandparents from both sides please tell them I love and miss them too. I wish they could have been spared more days on earth.....just to witness the fruits of their work. Tell my daddy's parents that even though I never met them, I love them too. Tell my aunt and brother I said hi if you see them. I hope you all far away from pain and you all resting peacefully at the throne.
If I could play you one song, it would be Simphiwe Dana ft Mthwakazi - iNkwenkwezi.
It's sad that there is no communication channel available to connect the living to the dead.
Rest In Power MBOKODO!
